EDWARD A. ZURILLA, 85 of Brunswick, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023. He was born in Cresson, PA to Andrew and Ann (Hovanec) Zurilla. Edward was a graduate of Lincoln High School and served in the Army. He was retired from General Motors, and loved all Cleveland Sports and knew all the stats of the players. He also enjoyed tending to his flowers, garden, and lawn, and enjoyed taking bus trips with his wife, Florene and sister, Elaine.
Edward is survived by his loving daughters, Kimberly Kress (Steven) and Sharon Edwards; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and siblings, Barbara VanNiel (Richard, deceased) and Ronald (Linda) Zurilla. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Florene, and his sister, Elaine Woff.
The family would like to express our gratitude to Vitalia Adult Community Memory Care and Cypress Hospice for their loving care in Edward’s final days and weeks.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Feb. 24 at St. Ambrose Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick at 12:30 pm, with the family receiving friends at the church from 11:30 am until the Mass. Inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Cypress Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
