Virginia “Ginny” Redovian (née Kovolenko), beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend, passed away on July 8, 2026, in Medina, Ohio, at the age of 92. Born on November 27, 1933, in Vestaberg, Pennsylvania, Virginia’s long and meaningful life was marked by simplicity, love, and an appreciation for the simple joys of daily life.
Ginny was the cherished daughter of Gregory Kovolenko and Anna Popadines, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: George, Richard (Alex), Harold, Johnny, Irene and Dolores.
Ginny’s life was a remarkable journey filled with love and devotion to family. She treasured times spent with loved ones, and her love for her great nieces was profound and unwavering. She had a special love for animals and was well known for keeping treats on hand for the neighborhood dogs.
Ginny's simple approach to life was reflected in the things she loved: a good cup of coffee and donuts, enjoying a Happy Meal, having her nails painted, or picking out her favorite piece of jewelry, perfume, or lipstick, she appreciated the little things that brought happiness to her day. She was a simple and humble woman whose love for those around her will be remembered and treasured always.
A graveside interment service will be held in honor of Virginia Redovian on Wednesday, July 23, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, located at 14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Ginny’s memory.
