Thomas R Maiolo

Thomas Robert Maiolo of Strongsville, Ohio, known by his loved ones as Tom, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2024, He was born on September 2, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Lyn Maiolo (Snell) and daughters, Jennifer Reece (TJ) and Melissa Oyer (Jeremy). Tom was not only a devoted father but also an involved and supportive Papa to Ally, 21; Annabelle, 17; Ava,17 and Mason, 14. Tom is also survived by his sister, Victoria Maiolo-Putnam (Pat) and nephews, Matt and Ben. Preceded in death by his parents, Fortunato Maiolo and Maria Santa Maiolo (Pantano). 

Tom worked as a project manager in the IT department for 43 years, ending his career with PNC Bank. After retirement, he passionately volunteered for SCORE, an organization dedicated to helping people start and manage new businesses. Tom loved spending time traveling, computer programming and building computer systems. After retirement, he found great joy in cooking and was a cigar aficionado. Tom valued spending time with his family the most, which included Sunday dinners and family vacations. He brought joy and laughter to every family gathering.

Please join us in celebration of his life on Saturday, April 20th at 11:00 am at First Congregational Church of Hudson, 47 Aurora St, Hudson, Ohio 44236. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Epilepsy Foundation or The Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
