Sandra K Hunter

Sandra Kay Hunter, 80, of Brunswick Hills, died peacefully at home on August 11th 2026, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born July 6, 1946, in Cleveland, to Clarence and Daisy Cervenka, Sandy began her career flying for Eastern Airlines before pursuing nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Case Western Reserve University, and dedicated more than twenty years to Parma Community General Hospital as a head nurse. She later concluded her professional life as a nursing recruiter at Jennings in Garfield Heights.

Sandy had a deep love of music and was her son’s most devoted supporter, especially of his band, Chimaira.

She is survived by her son, Mark Hunter; his fiancée, Lauren Dupont; her beloved granddog, Eloise “Ella” Hunter, and extended family.

At Sandy’s request, no services will be held.
