Robert Francis Besida

Robert Francis Besida (Bob) was welcomed into Heaven on May 14, 2026, in Brunswick, Ohio. Born on June 25, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, Robert lived a life deeply rooted in faith, family, and devotion to those he loved.

A proud veteran, Robert served honorably in the Army. Robert found joy in fishing, boating, camping, golfing, bowling, and had a particular love for muscle cars and drag racing. Robert had a strong love for Jesus, he was a dedicated member of Brunswick Reformed Church for 28 years, where he was earned the title as a “Senior Saint.” He was a Godly man in all that he did in life, and he leaves behind a legacy. Robert was a devoted family man who treasured every aspect of family life. Family was very important to him, he loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his daughter, Michele Krajewski (Mike); son, Christopher Besida (Dana); sister, Betty Roberts; grandchildren, Stephanie Harbaugh (Steven Seamon), Zachary Harbaugh (Stephanie), Leah Krajewski, Alaina Krajewski, Mikhaila Besida, Abby Besida, Joshua Besida, Jordan Besida, Monique Dearman, and Dominic Dearman; and great-grandchildren,  Carter Seamon, Isabelle Seamon, Jett Harbaugh, Jaxson Harbaugh, and Carson Dearman.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Frank Besida;  mother, Erna Besida (née Jaehnke); beloved wife, Joann Besida (née Bojalad); and son, Robert Besida.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 on Saturday, May 30 at Brunswick Reformed Church, 3525 Grafton Road, Brunswick. A reception will follow.
