Patrick Francis O’Neill Jr. (68) of North Olmsted, passed away peacefully at home on October 14th, 2022, surrounded by family.
Beloved Husband of Karen; Devoted Father of Brandon, Patrick III and Kelly (David); Cherished Grandfather (Goopa) to Damien, Lucy and Sebastian; Brother of Kathleen; Uncle to Rachel and Will; Friend to many.
Pat adored his family, was extremely generous and caring to those he loved and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Pat was a proud, hard-working UAW Local 1250 member and recently retired from Ford Motor Co. at the Cleveland Casting Plant in Brook Park, Ohio after 50 years as an Industrial Truck Mechanic.
Pat was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed bowling, golfing, and watching Cleveland’s professional sports teams disappoint him regularly. A Dad Joke connoisseur of sorts, Pat frequently made eyes roll with his timely wit and his love of intentionally misspelling items on grocery lists. He always had a permanent marker and masking tape at the ready to label any Ziplock bag or coffee can that came his way.
A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held at Bay Lodge, 492 Bradley Rd, Bay Village, OH 44140 on November 4th, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
