Nancy G. Smith

Nancy G. Smith, 82 of Brunswick, passed away Saturday August 29, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer.

Born October 24, 1943 in Richmond, Virginia to William and Glenna Blackwell, she later moved with her family to the Cleveland area.  In 1963, she married her loving husband of 60 years, Paul G. Smith Sr.  

Nancy really enjoyed her time working as a hostess at Ashley’s Tea Room in Medina, Ohio, where she made many friends and wonderful memories. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and would do anything for her family.  She took great pride in her home and making her yard the nicest kept on her street.

Nancy is survived by her brother, Ron Blackwell; children, Sandra Wilk (Mitchell), and Paul G. Smith Jr. (Julie); grandchildren, Anthony Santoli, Mariah Wilk, and Collin Smith; and great grandson, Hayden Lynn.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul G Smith Sr.

Abiding by Nancy’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
