Mary Theresa Krutschnitt

Mary Theresa Krutschnitt (nee Quinlan) 67, of Chippewa Lake, Ohio, peacefully passed away on July 1, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on January 29, 1959 in Rego Park, New York to the late William (Billy) and Theresa Quinlan, and growing up in Long Island. She was preceded in death by her cherished in-laws, Peter & Marie Krutschnitt.

On October 17, 1981, Mary married the love of her life, Peter Krutschnitt Jr. Together they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and devotion.

Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud Nana. Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in watching her children and grandchildren grow.

Mary will always be remembered for her love of a hot cup of tea, an ice-cold glass of water or milk, and playing cards and games with those she loved.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Peter Krutschnitt Jr.; her five children, Laura Krutschnitt (Brian), Lisa Klingbeil (Tony), Katie Bailey (Rob), Erin Ruggiero (Matt), and Peter Krutschnitt III (Christine); and her six cherished grandchildren, Ava, Olivia, William, Aiden, Emma, and Catherine, each of whom held a special place in her heart; and her sisters, Gerry Gozycki (Gary) and Patty Schroeder (Gene). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Mary will be deeply missed but her legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched with her compassion, humor, and love.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 9 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church located at 929 Pearl Rd Brunswick, OH 44212.

Following mass, the Rite of Committal and burial will take place at Eastlawn Memory Gardens located at 2869 Grafton Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212 with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Akron Children's Hospital in Mary's memory.
