Marjorie "Margie" Strange

Marjorie “Margie” Strange (nee Gibbs) 68 of Wellington, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2025. She was born in Medina, Ohio to Nancy and Richard Gibbs on August 6, 1956. She loved all things Elvis, the color purple, unicorns, and shopping. Margie used to look forward to her Friday night bowling. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and plastic canvas crafts. Margie was a staple for many years running the concession stand for pee wee football in Columbia Station. Above all else, she loved spending time with her grandkids. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Margie is survived by her loving husband of almost 48 years, David; children, Nancy Mazanek (Jesse) and Steven Strange (Charity); grandchildren, Samantha McRitchie, Amber Hamblen (Chris), Analyssa Lisle (Richard), Jordan Strange, Kameryn Strange and Asher Strange; great-grandchildren, Trenton McRitchie, Ryleigh McRitchie, Bentley Hamblen, Naveah Strange, Elizabeth Lisle, Everett Lisle, and Gabriella Hawkinberry; and brothers, Wilbur Gibbs and Ernest “Scott” Gibbs (Michelle). She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Nancy Gibbs, and an infant brother, Chucky Gibbs.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City, with a service beginning at 7:45 pm.

Please meet at Eastlawn Memory Gardens Wednesday, July 2 at noon for the burial.
