Margaret Mary Phelps

Margaret (Peggy) Phelps (Fitzpatrick) 91, passed on February 27, 2026 to be with the Lord.

Peggy was the daughter of the late Christopher and Catherine Fitzpatrick, former wife of Robert, and sister of the late Bill Fitzpatrick and the late Joan Fitzpatrick. Loving mother of Michael (Theresa) and Christopher (Kristen). Dear grandmother of Owen.

Peggy was a person who saw beauty in every moment. She loved taking pictures and had a keen eye for capturing life’s fleeing wonders. She also found peace in tending her flower gardens, where one spring she planted 400 tulips. A lover of chance and excitement, Peggy could be found at the casino or gathered around a deck of cards, always ready for a new hand. She loved cheering on the Cleveland Indians and Owen’s baseball teams. She would always tell tales of growing up in Wisconsin, her stories of life brought us all closer.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
