Hazel (Porter) Light, 87, of Brunswick, Ohio passed away July 18, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. She was born December 16, 1935. Hazel’s loves were her family, extended family and friends, the church she attended, yard sales and gardening.
Hazel is survived by her daughters, Nora (Light) Mantel, and Patricia (Light) Taylor (Charles); grandchildren, Marsha, David, Michelle (Mark), Patricia, George, Tracie and Joshua; thirteen great-grandchildren; eleven great great-grandchildren; nine sisters; and five brothers. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Light; daughter, Hazel Hoovler, and grandson, Jeremy Light.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 22 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, July 23 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Buckeye Christian Assembly, 3159 Columbia Road, Medina. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
