On Friday, July 10th, 2026, Lee Edward Arndt went home to be with his Savoir Jesus. In his 66 years on earth, Lee loved and was loved by so many people and served the Lord faithfully.
Lee was born on March 31st, 1960, in Cleveland to Melvin Sr., an army medic, and Shirley Arndt, both preceded in death. Lee had a large family with seven brothers and sisters that he cared for dearly. Proceeded in death by his brother Melvin Jr. and Mickey, sisters Shirley Gobel, Kim Cannon, and Karen. Survived by Anthony, Keith, and Ken (Jolana). As well as many nieces and nephews. Lee’s family brought him immense joy.
Lee was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. Lee served his country with pride and amplified the Marine Corps motto Semper Fi. Lee made time for any of his fellow service members as he enjoyed sharing stories with them about their time serving the United States. Lee was a proud American.
Lee was a hard worker and enjoyed driving limos and town cars for Touch of Class and Company Car. Lee’s work ethic set the example for anyone who knew him.
Lee was a huge sports fan cheering on, and often lamenting his Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Guardians, Cavaliers, and Browns. In his younger years, Lee loved to play softball.
In the fall of 2006 Lee met the love of his life, Connie Arndt. Over their 20 years together they were the happiest of his life as he now had so many more people to love. Lee had five stepchildren that he loved as his own. Nothing brought Lee more joy than being a part of the lives of his stepchildren and grandchildren. They truly were the spark in his very heart.
As much as he loved the kids and grandkids, nothing topped the love he had for his wife Connie. Lee and Connie loved spending time together no matter where the world took them. There was no greater joy to Lee than making his wife smile and laugh.
The most important legacy to Lee was that he set the example of a man after God’s heart. His love for his parents, siblings, wife, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews was strong because Lee poured into his family the love that came directly from Jesus. He set the example for us.
Lee is survived by his wife Connie Arndt and his loving pug Daisy. Stepchildren David (Jaclyn) Ivy, Becky (Bryan) Stacer, Heather (Travis) Nguyen, Bethany (David) Miroewski, and Danielle (Eric) Warren. Grandchildren Alex, Antwan, Autumn, Brooks, Conner, Edward, Ellis, Haley, Liam, Mason, and Negan.
Lee Arndt’s celebration of life will take place on Friday, July 17th at 1:00pm at Polaris Christian Church (3289 Laurel Rd Brunswick). Family and friends are welcome to join us for food after Lee’s Celebration of Life at the Brunswick VFW Hall (1439 South Carpenter Rd Brunswick).
