James J. Minor

James J. Minor, age 64, passed away October 7, 2023 following a lengthy illness.  James loved sports.  He bowled at Medina Lanes for many years and played softball in his younger years.  He was a huge Ohio State fan, and loved the Cleveland Browns and Indians (Guardians).  James was a long-time member of the Medina Eagles, and he also loved to fish, garden and cook.

James is survived by his lifetime companion and best friend, Anne Gregoire; brothers, Edward and Joseph Minor; bonus daughters, Angela Johnson and Tiffanie Kott (Don); grandchildren, Jaden Samsa, Nathan James Kott and Shelbie Kott; niece, Elissa Rouse; and nephews, Jason Minor and Chad Minor.  He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Kathryn (nee Zieg) Minor; brother, John Minor; and Nephew, Chase Minor.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Western Reserve, Medina.
