Horace "Hob" Miller

Horace Hobson “Hob” Miller, Jr., 85 of Euclid, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. He was born on June 22, 1937 in Wilmington, Delaware, and was raised in Penns Grove, New Jersey. Hob was a graduate of the Naval Academy and served as an officer in the US Navy. In his civilian life, he worked as an Electrical Engineer. Hob was an active member of Collinwood Masonic Lodge #582, the Scottish Rite Valley of Cleveland, and several other Masonic bodies. He was also a long-time member of the East Shore United Methodist Church in Euclid.

Hob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Alberta “Birdie” (nee Brayerton); daughters, Gwendolyn Miller, Pamela Babuca (Robert), Deborah Woodworth (Martin), and Kimberley Phillips (Brent); grandchildren, Joseph Babuca (Bel), Alyssa Babuca, Brady Woodworth, Brock Woodworth, Andrew Phillips, and Courtney Phillips; great grandchildren, Ainalani and Roman Babuca; and a sister, Helen McGilloway (Tom). He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Dorothy McDyson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 15 at 1:00 pm at the East Shore United Methodist Church, 23002 Lakeshore Blvd., Euclid, with Rev. Armando Arellano officiating, a Masonic Service by Collinwood Lodge, and military honors.  A reception in the church Fellowship Hall will follow the memorial.
