Geraldine T Keaton

Geraldine (Gerry) Theresa Keaton, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 22nd, 2025. Gerry was the daughter of the late Alice and Joseph Socha, former wife of the late Roy, and sister of Phyllis Hajdin (Gerald) and the late Gerald Socha. Loving mother of Paul (Gloria Britton), Curt (Karen), Greg (Lori), and Theresa Lineweaver. Dear grandmother of Brian (Isabella) and Kevin Keaton, Walker (Madison), Mackenzie, Cassie, Owen, and Allison Keaton, Lauren and Rachel Lineweaver. Great-grandmother to Gabriel and Nathaniel Keaton.

Gerry retired from the Cuyahoga County Public Library System in 2008 after many years of service to the community. Among her many interests were taking her grandchildren to the zoo, dressing up for Halloween, and working in her tomato and flower garden. She loved cruises, family dinners, puzzles, board games, and watching her children and grandchildren play sports.

Most importantly, Gerry was a loving and faithful servant to her Heavenly Father, providing meals at funerals, coordinating activities for the senior group, and participating in Bible studies. She remained active at Royal Redeemer and with North Royalton Seniors until her final days.

A visitation will be held at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church 11680 Royalton Road, North Royalton, Ohio 44133 on January 31, 2026 at 10am with a memorial service commencing at 11:00am. A luncheon will follow at the Church. Contributions can be made in Gerry’s memory to Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church.
