Gerald Noble Jr

Gerald “Jerry” Noble, Jr., 77, of Strongsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on May 2, 1948 in Cleveland, OH and graduated from John Marshall High School. Jerry worked hard for Ford Motor Co. as a machine operator, retiring after 36 years. Jerry enjoyed making everyone around him laugh, he loved going to concerts and seeing movies in theaters, and he took great pride in supporting music education.

Jerry is survived by his children, Jerry Noble III (Ashley) of Dayton, OH, and Erika Richmond (Scott); grandchildren Ava, Lydia, Allison, Alex, Isaac, and Eric; and siblings Katherine Young (Richard, deceased), James (Nancy), Laura Melcher, Norman (Gale), and many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Sr. and Martha (nee Gladis).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jerry’s name to The Ohio Foundation for Music Education.

Funeral Mass will be on Monday, February 16 at 11:30am at St. Mary’s Church, 250 Kraft St, Berea, OH 44017. Visitation to follow onsite at the Fr. John Garrity Center from 12:30 – 2pm. Interment will be private at a later date.
