Elmer R Theman

Elmer R. Theman, age 78, entered into rest on January 28, 2026. He was the devoted husband of Elaine (nee Carter), dearest father of Corey R. Theman and Casey J. Theman (Jennifer), and brother of Barbara Anderson (Robert) and David (Karen). 

Elmer graduated from Olmsted Falls High School and went to Cleveland State University where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduating, he worked at NASA Glenn Research Center (formally known as NASA Lewis Research Center) from 1966 until retiring in 2004. 

He loved being outdoors, and could be found hiking the Metroparks in many surrounding counties. His love for cars led him to restoring, painting, and converting a 1965 Dodge Coronet into a drag racing car, which he took to and competed at various tracks nearby. He will be missed by many.
