Donald R. Dieringer, born on November 14, 1946, in Canton, Ohio, passed away on September 30, 2025, in Brunswick, Ohio. He lived a life of service and dedication, spending his career as a truck driver—an occupation he embraced passionately throughout his life.
Donald also honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, exemplifying his commitment to his country. His military service instilled in him values of discipline and hard work, qualities that translated seamlessly into his professional life as a truck driver.
An enthusiastic individual, Donald found joy in a variety of interests. He had a particular passion for groundhog hunting. He was also fond of watching television and had a knack for tinkering with mechanical things, showcasing his curiosity and ingenuity. Additionally, he was a lover of animals.
Donald is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Kathleen (nee Jewel); his daughter, Jennifer Dieringer; and his beloved grandson, Brady Dieringer' his sister, Sara Hines (Ray); his nephews, Trevor and Zach Hines; and his step-mother, Donna Dieringer.
Preceding him in death are his father, Donald E. Dieringer, and his brother, Mark Dieringer.
A graveside service to honor Donald's life will be held on October 16, 2025, at 1:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio. Please meet at the cemetery gate at 1:00.
