David William Scott, 75, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026.

David was a proud retired employee of Ford and a veteran who served his country with honor. He held the utmost respect and appreciation for fellow veterans and the VA community.

Those who knew David will remember him for his wicked sense of humor, his quick wit, and his ability to bring laughter to those around him. Beneath that humor was a kind and caring man with a special soft spot for children and animals. He had a generous heart and found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful.

David enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cooking, and he was an avid animal lover. He also had a lifelong appreciation for fast cars—a passion that perfectly suited his spirited personality.

David will be remembered for his humor, his kindness, his dedication to his country, and the many lives he touched along the way. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, fellow veterans, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 24th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, located at 929 Pearl Rd Brunswick, OH 44212.

David will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, located at 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273 on August 24th, 2026 at 2:45pm with Military Honors.
