Barbara Ann Reitz, known to her loved ones as Babs, passed away on March 3, 2024, in Aurora, Ohio, at 95. She was born on June 25, 1928, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Barbara was a devoted wife to Leonard Reitz, who predeceased her in 2003, after 52 years of marriage. She was a cherished mother to her sons, Thomas (Joan) of Aurora, Ohio, and Jonathan (Joyce) of Medina, Ohio. Barbara was also a loving grandmother to Austin, Car, and Julia.

After graduating from Valparaiso University in 1950 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Barbara embarked on a career in the employment/placement industry in Milwaukee and Cleveland. A lifelong Lutheran, Barbara worshipped at Royal Redeemer and St. John Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed supporting the arts, notably the Playhouse Series in downtown Cleveland and the Cleveland Play House. Barbara was an active member of the Seniors Group at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church.
